Noemie Goudal's doorways to another world
French photographer links dreamlands and reality in her neglected architecture images
It seems the photographs beamed back from Mars by Curiosity Rover aren't exciting enough for NASA as they've commissioned photo artists Nicholas Kahn and Richard Selesnick to create some altogether more stand out images of the arid Mars landscape. The Martian landscape is not the bare red rocked landscape we've become used to seeing as Kahn and Selesnick have photo-montaged in futuristic sculptures and astronauts exploring the planet.
The duo have been collaborating as Kahn/Selesnick since 1988 on a series of complex narrative photo-novellas and sculptural installations. They were both born in 1964, in New York City and London respectively. See all the pictures here.
