Having welcomed the world's most glamorous stars to the Cannes red carpet, the president of Cannes Film Festival, Gilles Jacob, will be stepping into the spotlight at an exclusive book signing for his autobiography Citizen Cannes tomorrow (17 May).  Known in the industry as 'Monsieur Cinema', Jacob's compelling autobiography showcases the man behind the world's premier film festival. The book signing at Cannes English Bookshop offers a unique opportunity to meet 'Citizen Cannes' and acquire a signed copy of his charming book.

Citizen Cannes offers behind-the-scenes insight into the glamour and larger-than-life personalities of the prestigious festival. From encounters with key figures like Quentin Tarantino, Stanley Kubrick, Clint Eastwood, Woody Allen, Jacob also sheds light on the way films are selected, judged and awarded, making this the must-read for film buffs and anyone fascinated by the glamour of the film industry and its stars.
