Bringing a traditional patisserie into the 21st century
Café Kubitscheck, Munich
The owner of Cafe Kubitscheck, Armin Stegbauer, in Munich called in local design firm Designliga, to update the confectionary's traditional image to something edgier. With an installation of exploding cubes coming from the ceiling, the odd Eames chair and an otherwise simple purposefulness, the decor manages to be modern and different without distracting from the priority - the cakes.
