What Happens When is both 'a delicious exhibition' and a pop-up restaurant, masterminded by a bunch of creatives who spotted an abandoned restaurant, joined forces and, after some serious brainstorming, drafted a project for an installation work that also functions as a temporary playground for food.
Based in SoHo, the restaurant will remain open for nine months and the team behind it - a chef, a composer, two designers and a photographer - will all be involved in designing one 'collection' a month, including the menu, space design, soundscape and photographs.
To ensure the project is as engaging as possible, outsiders are welcome to get involved in the creative process by backing the project via the increasingly popular founding platform, Kikstarter.
