If you feel your art collection is somehow incomplete due its lack of a bright blue silicon engine block fear not, your prayers are about to be answered. Helmut Lang has teamed up with Shelter Serra, nephew of minimalist legend Richard Serra, whose current work sees him casting silicon sculptures from everyday objects.

Serra has cast 17 engine blocks in a series called, naturally enough, Engine Blocks, which will appear in 17 Helmut Lang stores from November 1 to Jan 17. They'll also be on sale through art website GreyArea priced between $4,000 and $6,000. Grey Area is the site run by Manish Vora of Artlog, and Kyle De Woody, daughter of collector turned curator Beth De Woody.
